Q. How long will it take to clean up my credit? Since every person has individual needs and unique credit, credit report improvements vary. In most cases positive results reflect as soon as 30-45 days. Average credit score increases are 3-6 months, although if you need to rebuild and establish positive credit we suggest our 12 month service program.
Q. What can I do to speed up the process? Sign up with us immediately, and follow our instructions by faxing or sending us all of the updated credit reports you receive from the credit bureaus as soon as you receive them. These updates reflect the first step in our process of repairing your credit. Many times our client’s credit scores are increased drastically in the first month, but we won’t know unless we have the updated reports in our office for our analysis.
Q. What else can I do to increase my score while my credit is being repaired? Our clients who follow our suggestions in paying off small balances while we are repairing the credit history receive much higher scores. Also paying down credit card balances and paying off small collections will definitely increase scores.
Q. I have a Bankruptcy, can you still help me? Yes, as long as it's at least 60 days after your bankruptcy is discharged, we can help you. Because you will need to reestablish positive credit, services may take a little longer; therefore we suggest the 12 month service program.
Q. Should I file Bankruptcy? We never give out legal advice, but we will give you a free initial credit consult which may help you decide. If you think you are a candidate for bankruptcy we suggest that you get legal counsel from at least 3 bankruptcy lawyers prior to making a decision.
Q. I don’t have any credit and no credit score, can you help me? Yes. We have many business affiliates including banks and lenders to help you build positive credit history. Remember, even though you don’t have any negative credit, you must have open good credit accounts to build positive credit history.
Q. Should I close credit cards I haven’t used in a while? It depends. To achieve the highest credit score possible you need many years of open positive credit card accounts. If you have several (more than 5 credit cards) we suggest only closing recently opened cards, keep open the oldest credit cards. If you aren’t sure which cards to close, please let us take a look and give you our expert opinion.
Q. I have a very busy schedule; do I have to come into your office to begin services? No. We consult many of our clients via phone, and many of our clients do everything by fax, e mail and US Mail. |
