UNDERSTANDING YOUR CREDIT REPORT
We believe it is extremely important for consumers to understand their credit report, mainly because your credit report and credit score are reflections of your financial worthiness. Most consumers have an idea of what their credit status is, but do not know how to read a credit report. Many companies offer free credit reports, but
what good is receiving a free credit report if you don’t understand it!!
FREE INITIAL CREDIT CONSULT FOR CONSUMERS AT PRECISE
According to the Federal Law, The Fair Credit Reporting Act, credit reports must have current, accurate and complete information about you. We provide a FREE INITIAL CREDIT CONSULT which will help you to understand how to read your credit reports, to ensure that your credit reports are reporting you accurately. We will help you to read your report, and we will determine if our services will benefit you. We will also recommend which type and length of service agreement is necessary, in addition to helpful credit tips that will help you in achieving optimum success in increasing your credit report scores.
GETTING YOUR FREE CREDIT REPORTS AND SCORES
If you would like additional information on how we can help you with your credit status, we highly recommend that you have your credit reports available, which will enable us to give you a thorough analysis. You may set up an appointment with us in our Oak Park, Illinois office, or we can provide all of our consulting services via telephone.
In providing us with current detailed credit reports, we suggest that you pull your report for free by clicking here. You will need a credit card number to receive your free credit reports and score, although the credit reports and scores are FREE. You may print all of the credit report pages and fax to us at 708 524 8110. Please include a cover sheet with your contact information so we can call you to let you know we received all pages of the fax. Please note, by pulling your own credit report, it DOES NOT affect your credit score. (Credit inquiries by mortgage companies, car dealerships, credit card companies and department stores lower your credit score 1-5 points each inquiry)
DISCOUNTS, SERVICE AGREEMENT CONTRACTS AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
We offer discounts for clients that sign up with a partner. Our “Joint Service Contract” is designed for any client that has a partner who also wants services. You don’t have to live at the same address to receive a discount for a “Joint” contract; you can have a spouse, family member, or even a friend sign up with you to receive a joint discount. The person you choose will not have access to your personal credit file, each client has their own file and their file is strictly confidential. We will never discuss your financial or credit status with any other client.
We have several payment options including payment plans, 6 month and 12 month
Service agreements available in addition to extended contract discounts for returning clients. We also offer special discounts to clients who pay in full for services.
SIGNING UP
After your initial credit consult, we will help you to determine the most beneficial credit consulting Service Agreement contract for your unique credit file. When you are ready to sign up for our services, we can send, e mail, fax our Service Agreement contract to you or you may set us an appointment with us in our office to sign up in person. We will need a copy of your current Driver’s license in addition to the Service Agreement Contract signed and returned to us.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Approximately 7-30 days after services begin you will begin receiving updated credit reports and letters from all three credit reporting agencies TRANSUNION, EXPERIAN and EQUIFAX. The envelopes are very plain; the return address does not have the names of the bureaus “TRANSUNION, EXPERIAN or EQUIFAX”. The envelopes may look like junk mail, although every letter or credit report you receive must be forwarded to our office as soon as you receive them for expedited results. The updates will assist us in promptly continuing the service process or provide information on what items or accounts are completed. We continue to work on your credit file throughout the length of the Service Agreement contract.
We prefer that you send your updated credit reports to us via US Mail, however you may FAX credit reports to us as well. When you return copies of the updates to us, please make sure you fax or send all pages of all copies front and back.
ADDRESS OR INFORMATION CHANGES
Please contact us immediately if you have a change of address or if there are any changes including last name change. If we are not notified of an address or name change the credit reporting agencies may not respond or may delay credit report updates or may refuse to correct, verify or update information. In order to give you the best services possible, we may need to contact you periodically throughout the service procedure, so please let us know if your contact information has changed.
If you do not receive anything from the credit reporting agencies 30 days after you began our services, please contact our office immediately.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at 708.524.8055 any time throughout your services for any questions you have about your credit report, credit status, or our services. We also encourage you to visit our Frequently Asked Questions page, which may answer questions that you have.
